What is your real name?
Raven Elyse Scott, nicknamed Ray or RayRay
How old are you?
I’m currently 18 and my birthday is 9/17/93
What is your race/ethnicity?
I consider myself “african american”. So when people ask me if i’m “mixed” I say no, i’m black. But I look different because people in my ancestry were Native American, Irish, French, Jamaican, etc… My great great great grandpa was a white man.
How tall are you?
about 5’10
Where are you from?
Texas. Cedar Park to be exact (outside of Austin)

Your short haircut?
I cut my hair because it was very damaged and I wanted to go natural. I got it cut in a pixie cut and now I’m letting it grow out. Check out my youtube channel for videos on how I style, straighten and take care of my hair! www.youtube.com/theraybabyshow
What about your old hair? The golden color? The red? The Braids?
My natural hair was very curly and thick and as of now it’s relaxed but i dont get it relaxed very often. I blow dry it, straighten it or use a curling iron, or i wear it “scrunched” with mousse. Right now, my real hair goes past my shoulders, i dont wear a weave, but i do have clip in extensions that i wear occasionally. I had golden hair at one point, it was Dark and Lovely “Honey Blonde” hair color (available at Wal Mart) and my mom was dying it for me at home. At that point, I had various other shades of brown randomly in my hair from other dying sessions. Now, I went and got my hair professionally dyed to a dark brown with hints of red. Where do you shop? Online?
My favorite stores are: Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and other typical mall stores, and i also like to shop at thrift stores and on ebay (GOODWILL AND THE SALVATION ARMY ARE MY NEW FAVES!!). I also like Karmaloop.com and Modcloth.com but they are more expensive. Check out amiclubewear.com for cheap heels. and Gojane.com, UrbanOG.com and MakeMeChic.com for other cute stuff.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THOSE LINKS AT THE TOP OF YOUR PAGE?
To make the different links on the top of my page (the one that categorize my posts) You must create a LINK on your page by altering your CUSTOM THEME CODE. You add a link to where ever your orignal “archive” and “ask” links are, or you can add them to your DESCRIPTION. Google what the coding is to create a link on tumblr, copy and paste the coding and replace the designated spaces with your urls..such as: www.theraybabyray.tumblr.com/tagged/outfit …the “tagged” means that all the posts which you have TAGGED “outfit” will be shown on that link. So to make posts go that link you have just created on your page, you have to tag them “outfit” every time. You can do this with multiple different tags to create different “pages”.

Why do you always dress nice for school? Why do you wear heels?
I like to dress up for school simply because i love fashion and i hate looking boring. I love to wear heels even though i’m tall. And i dont wear them to be TALLER i wear them because they’re cute! I wear heels most days to school. “The world is my runway!”

After wearing them for a while, you get used to the feeling, but some shoes do hurt. Beauty is pain!

Do you follow back?
I dont do automatic follow-backs, i only follow blogs i love. That’s why i’m not following many blogs.
How’d you gain your followers? Why do you care so much about followers?
I got my followers the old fashioned way! I dont advertise my blog on any special site or do follow-trains. I just try to post quality stuff! I love the fact that many people like what i do, that’s why i get excited about the number of followers i have, but honestly, i’d still be here if i had none, my tumblr is mostly for myself! Love you guys! :)

What does “DIY” mean?
It stands for “Do it Yourself” in other words, if i say “DIY Shorts” it means i made them myself or decorated them myself!
What does “GPOY” mean?
It stands for “gratuitous picture of yourself” but i use it to mean “the is a photo of me”.
Where are you going to college? What are you planning to study?
I’m going to the University of North Texas and studying Fashion Design
Do you have a roommate? Where do you live?
I live in a 2-person dorm room and my roommate’s name is Whitney and I met her the summer before school started and she’s awesome!

Why do you have a separate page for messages? How did you do that?
Because I sometimes get many messages which would get in the way of my actual blog posts. I just created a whole new blog and devoted it to messages. And linked it to my main blog.
How are you making money from this blog?
I earn giftcards from Shopittome.com and I used to get payments from Google AdSense. But I no longer support Google AdSense so dont ask me about it! I’m now using another ad service called Bidvertiser but it does not pay very well at all.
Are you Tumblr Famous?
I have less than 10,000 followers so I’d say no.
How did you customize your theme?
I just used a pre-made theme from the garden (the themes provided by tumblr) and edited it by tinkering with the options and coding.
